Our Garden Group, in conjunction with the De Pere Beautification Committee, works to keep De Pere looking bright and beautiful for residents and visitors to the area. We make a donation each year for plants, pots, soil and watering service. Members prepare the beds, plant and maintain them throughout the summer, and clean-up in the fall. The areas involved are beds in or near City Hall, Crevier Commons, Bridge Round-About, 4 beds on Webster Street, the Clock Tower, Black & Tan, Kress Inn and 2 beds near St Norbert Book Store.
A $750.00 Scholarship is awarded to a senior at De Pere High School and West De Pere High School.

The White Pillars Museum has a community event for the area children to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Club members bake over 90 dozen goodies and 18 volunteers help serve the families and assist as needed to make the event fun for all. Our members also assist with decorating the museum and organizing the 400 bags of candy that are given to the children.
Get Out to Vote
In 1952 De Pere voter turn out for the Presidential election was 99.96%. Using this as an inspiration, the Woman's Club of De Pere began to remind everyone in De Pere to vote. Stickers were printed and distributed to remind residents to "Get Out and Vote". A display case was also set up at the Kress Library to remind voters or the importance to get out and vote.

In addition to monetary donations, members collect food items at our December meeting for the food pantry.

Major Funding for the Club
Spaghetti Dinner and Raffle
The dinner is held at Legend's Swan Club. Committee Chairs organize ticket sales, work shifts, handle publicity, make decorations, and set up the raffle items. All members are asked to make or provide raffle items, sell tickets and/or work a shift to help make the dinner a club success.
Letters with order forms are sent to residents and local businesses. Volunteers then visit the businesses to take orders or collect the completed order forms. Poinsettias can also be ordered the evening of the Spaghetti Dinner.
